Even before taking college classes, I’ve always learned best by doing. Most if not all of my experience comes from hands-on projects where i break things, fix things, and figure out how things and systems really work behind the scenes. Below are examples of the hands-on projects that shaped my technical experience.
Accessible Table (Web Accessibility Exercise)
For this project, I created an accessible HTML table using WordPress. I implemented proper table headers, captions, and scope attributes to ensure the table was screen-reader friendly and easy to navigate.

Responsive Web Design (RWD) Analysis
In this assignment, I analyzed a fully responsive website and explained how its layout adapts to mobile, tablet, and desktop screens. I learned how media queries, flexible images, and mobile-first design are used to enhance user experience.

Home Cybersecurity Lab

I built a multi-monitor workstation where I run virtual machines, experiment with networking tools, and practice cybersecurity concepts. I use systems such as Pop!_OS, Windows, and Kali Linux to explore networking, defensive tools, and ethical hacking labs.
Skills demonstrated: virtualization, Linux, networking, cybersecurity fundamentals.
Android Rooting & System Modification
I’ve spent years learning how Android systems work internally — rooting, customizing firmware, and debugging devices. These projects taught me a lot about filesystems, secure boot processes, and risk management.
Skills demonstrated: Android internals, firmware flashing, troubleshooting, system recovery.
Networking & Home Infrastructure
I designed and configured a secure home network, experimenting with routers, VLANs, remote access, Pi-hole DNS filtering, and network monitoring tools. This hands-on experience supports my formal networking coursework.
Skills demonstrated: subnetting, routing, DNS, DHCP, network security.
IoT & Camera Experimentation
I’ve explored IP cameras, custom firmware, local-only setups, and integration with home-lab tools. This allowed me to learn about device vulnerabilities, local web servers, and network-based configuration.

These projects are the foundation of my technical experience and I enjoy learning new things from each one and coming closer to my long-term cybersecurity goals.
